Blue Willow Tea Company Partners
in Design developed the original packaging, identity, sales and promotional
collateral for Blue Willow Tea Company, a tea importer based in Seattle.
Building a brand image in a very competitive market was our challenge.
The tea plant illustration on the box continues to grow from one package
to the next in effective store displays making a larger than life presence
for Blue Willow on the supermarket shelf. The attraction of this packaging
concept is that the consumer is invited to buy the concept of tea, not
simply a product in a box. The Blue Willow Tea packaging project has
won several new-product awards in trade shows. Partners in Design also responded to Blue Willow's commitment to environmentally-responsible organic tea farming methods by designing their packaging with recycled chip-board, vegetable oil-based inks and colors which do not include heavy metals.
