Bellevue Botanical Garden

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is an urban refuge, filled with cultivated gardens, restored woodlands and wildlife. Located just east of Seattle, it reflects the urban Northwest landscape, with Puget Sound to the west and the Cascade mountains to the east, an area known as Cascadia. Partners in Design extended our identity and publications design work for the Garden to interpretive signage designs for the individual gardens within the 8-acre site. The Alpine Rock Garden (shown here) introduces visitors to a special alpine world of tiny wildflowers, mountain hemlock, and granite outcrops. The garden resembles the mosaic of plant life and landforms found high in the mountains.
