Partners in Design has designed numerous interpretive for the San Juan County Land Bank, a land use and planning organization in the San Juan Island just north of Seattle. Shown here is a land use map for Upright Head on Lopez island. Objectives include the design of permanent, non-intrusive, environmentally-sensitive displays to convey the Land Bank's mission and objectives to residents, visitors to the San Juans and school children. A primary goal is to unite the community and emphasize the common objective for the preservation of important land.
