The New York Public Library

Partners in Design has had a long relationship with the Education Department of the New York Public Library designing and producing publications through their "Learning Through Exhibitions" program which are used by visiting teachers to the exhibitions. The library's holding's are vast and these exhibits draw from this permanent collection. The objective is to make material accessible that is often quite scholarly. Past exhibitions have included "La Fontaine: The Power of Fables", "King Arthur: Looking at the Legend" and "New Worlds, Ancient Texts: The Cultural impact of an Encounter". These exhibitions publications are funded by a grant from Paine Webber.
